Neptune Technology has initiated the product development of pharmaceutical drug candidates with pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Different drug candidates are being developed for prescription drug cardiovascular indications (Acasti Pharma) and prescription drug neurological conditions (NeuroBioPharm).

These drug candidates will be used in the preclinical studies required for submission of an investigational new drug application (IND) in the United States for the development as a prescription drug.

In addition, product candidates are being manufactured for medical food and over-the-counter applications.
