These include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for natural health products for Canada.

Neptune is committed to effectively manage the rigorous quality systems that are key to its business activities - from raw materials, manufacturing, to packaging and distribution through quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory affairs.

Neptune has been successful in obtaining many multinational approvals including:
  • New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) status
  • Generally Accepted as Safe status from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States
  • Complementary Medicine status from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia
  • Natural product number (NPN) from the Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) from Health Canada
  • Novel Food and Parnuts for commercialization in the European Union from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)
