Patents In applying its firm policy of obtaining all appropriate protection of intellectual property world-wide, the Company is rigorously proceeding with the last phases of national patent reviews on three patent applications:
- The Neptune OceanExtract process which has already entered the stage of National Review and has been registered in the United States, North Korea, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Australia, Norway and China. The process is under review with an additional 27 countries.
- Neptune Krill Oil composition and use for treatment of Cardiovascular Disease, Inflammation / Arthritis, Skin Cancer, Diabetes, Hormonal Disorders, Transdermal Transport is under national review with 33 countries.
- Three novel phospholipids and one novel flavonoid molecule are under review with 33 countries for composition and use for the treatment of cancer, learning disorders, neurodegenerative disease, and neuromotor disorders.
- The Company also proceeded with the last phase of patenting its seal tissue processing method, after filing national patent applications in more than 25 countries. For the next phase, the Society will evaluate the possibility to proceed at the deposit of applications for review of its national patents.
